Why Trump is Right in Abolishing DACA

America’s Immigration Policies Should be Decided by Congress not Presidential Executive Orders

I agree with President Trump and the Justice apartment’s decision to abolish DACA.

DACA came into being through Obama’s executive order and not an act of Congress.

Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) is an American immigration policy founded solely by the Obama administration in June 2012.

DACA allows certain illegal immigrants who entered the country as minors to receive a renewable two-year period of deferred action from deportation and eligibility for a work permit.

The immigration situation in America needs to be fixed but it is congress that makes laws, not the President. Governing exclusively through executive orders as Obama almost always did is unconstitutional and not the intention of our founding fathers.
